1 How do I activate my account?
When you first register your mobile will be automatically be activated.
If you deactivate your mobile and then wish to reactivate manually select Shortcuts within the App and then select Activate VoxSci. You will then be taken to the dialer on your mobile with an activation code already added, simply select Call to dial this activation code (no charge) you should get a success message back.
2 How do I deactivate my account?

3 How do I get the transcriptions and an audio file of my voice mails emailed to me?
Select Settings and then select Alert Email and check that the email address is the one that you want the transcriptions with a MP3 audio file of your voice mail attached sent to.
Then select Alert Method and choose how you want your voice mail transcriptions sent to you.
TIP: You can add more than one email address simply by putting a comma between them (no space).
4 Why is it important that my mobile is activated?
Activating your service will change the diverts on your mobile to our platform when you are busy, don't answer or out of range.
Your mobile will be automatically activated when you first register.
Search Voice Mails
5 How can I search my voice mails?
A huge benefit of VoxSci transcribing your voice mails is that you can search and filter your voice mails using keywords.
To do this select Messages and the type the keyword(s) that you wish to search for in the box at the top of the screen and then select done.
Transcription
6 What happens if VoxSci can't transcribe my voice mails
If a voice mail can't be transcribed (eg it has been left in an unsupported language) you will still be able to listen to the voice mail. Where the transcription is usaully displayed there will a brief explanation of why the voice mail can't be transcribed.
Notifications
7 How will I know that I have received a new voice mail?
You will receive a notification on your mobile, a vibration and the VoxSci badge will update. You will also receive an email to your alert email address if you have this facility activated.
8 How do I manage notifications to my Android phone?
Go to Settings on your mobile (not the App Settings) and then select notifications.
This can be used to minimize roaming cost when travelling abroad.
9 Why am I not being getting notified when I receive an new voice mail?
When you first installed the VoxSci App you would have been asked if you VoxSci had permission to send you push notifications, these would notify you when a new voicemail arrives for you.
To toggle push notications on/off go to Settings on your mobile (not the App Settings) and then select Notifications and then VoxSci, then enable all option.

10 My Android phone already notifies me for missed calls, why is the VoxSci notification different?
If your mobile is switched off or out of range you will still get a VoxSci notification when your mobile re connects to your network.
General
11 Will the VoxSci App work with a PAYG mobile?
With the exception of 3 and giffgaff the mobile operators will not allow the diverts on a PAYG mobile phone to be changed and therefore the VoxSci service will not work with PAYG mobiles.
12 Will my network operator charge me for using the VoxSci service?
When you are in the UK calls made to you are diverted to our platform and calls you may make to our platform should be covered within your monthly allowance, but please check with your mobile operator.
Voice mails that are sent to your App may incur a data charge if you have exceeded your data allowance.
13 How do I record a personal greeting?
Select Settings and then Your Greeting, now select the REC button.
14 Will the App synchronise with the contacts on my mobile?
Yes. The App will automatically synchronise with the Contacts list on your Android mobile. This means that names, phone numbers, email addresses and photos will automatically be displayed when someone leaves you a voice mail who is already in your contact list.
15 I like to read my voicemails but sometimes I wish to listen to them
Select the message that you wish to read and listen to then select the orange triangle button the audio of the message will begin to play. You can pause the play back by selecting the same button again. To stop the playback select the orange square button.
16 I have forgotten my PIN, what do I do now?
Simply select Forgot PIN at the login page, we will send you a SMS with your PIN.
17 Is the service secure?
Access to VoxSci is protected by a high-grade 256bit SSL certificate that encrypts all communication between your internet browser and the VoxSci service.
We will always connect to your email using IMAP, port 993 whenever we can. This means communications to your email account is fully encrypted and secure.
18 How do I refer friends and colleagues?
Select Referers and then select from your Contact list those people who you wish a referral email to be sent from VoxSci by tapping the box to the right of their name (a green tick will appear).
19 How do I delete a voice mail?
Select Messages and then select the message that you wish to delete, then select the Menu button and then Delete message.

21 How do I get my VoxSci service to work with Skype?
Simply setup your Skype account so that unanswered calls are forwarded to your VoxSci voicemail number.
To do this login to your Skype account and select Tools>Options>Call Forwarding and input your VoxSci voice mail (answer phone) number which can be found by logging into your VoxSci account (www.voxsci.com) and then select Overview.

22 How do I close my account?
Select Settings and then Terminate Account and then Close Account.
Once you have closed your account it is important that you deactivate the service by selecting Shortcuts and then Deactivate VoxSci. You will then be taken to the dialer on your mobile phone with the a decativation code already added, simply select Call to dial this deactivation code (no charge) you should get a success message back.
